Meet the school
Shachah began in 2016 as a small home-school effort in Busega Kibumbiro, and grew into a fully registered ACE Christian school serving Pre-School through Grade 12 without ever losing the close, individual attention that started it.
Shachah begins as a home school, teaching a handful of children through scripture-centered lessons.
Formal registration as a Christian academy running the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum.
A full Pre-School to Grade 12 campus in Busega Kibumbiro, Kampala.
Each student works through individual PACE booklets at their own "office" desk, sets daily goals, and raises a flag the moment they need a supervisor's help mastering each step before advancing to the next.
Each morning starts with students setting a personal PACE goal for the day building ownership before a single page is turned.
Students work independently at their own desk. When they're stuck or finished, they raise a flag, and a supervisor comes to them.
A PACE is only complete once it's mastered checked, scored, and understood before the student advances to the next.

From music and art to swimming, urban farming, and computer design, students discover the interests and abilities that make them wonderfully individual.
Before the first PACE is opened each morning, our students gather in scripture because character is the first subject, every single day.
